We photograph it with the same intention we bring to every session: unhurried, thoughtful, and centered entirely on how you feel, not just how you look.

We ask you to reserve your newborn session before your due date so that when the time comes, one thing is already handled. We schedule within the first ten days of your child's arrival and build flexibility around your actual delivery date.
We bring the wraps, the props, and the patience. You bring your baby and whatever they need. We work around their schedule, not ours.

Where is the Studio Located?
We are located at 15715 Main St NE Suite 202 in downtown Duvall, WA. It is approximately 20 minutes east of Redmond and Woodinville and south of Monroe.
When Do I Schedule?
We recommend scheduling your session during your third trimester, based on your anticipated due date. As that date approaches, stay in touch and we will adjust the timing based on baby's actual arrival. Life with a newborn is unpredictable. We build flexibility in from the start. Add our email / phone number to Dad's list of contacts for arrival notifications.
What if I need to cancel my session?
Sessions are non-refundable but you are welcome to transfer your session to someone else if your plans change.
How long is a Newborn session?
Newborn sessions typically run about two hours though we follow baby's lead entirely. If they need to eat, be soothed, or simply take their time settling in, we wait. There is no clock running in our studio.
What Should We wear?
If you have a theme for the baby's nursery or room, bring an outfit that matches that or the theme from your baby shower. We have some newborn outfits and wraps too. Mom should be comfortable and bring a change of clothes in case an accident happens. We also suggest bringing a treasured blanket, lots of diapers and milk. Dad's get bonus points for bringing snacks for mom!
When Should a Newborn Session happen?
The newborn phase is fleeting in a way that is hard to describe until you are in it. Sessions are best within the first 7 to 14 days of baby's birth. This is when babies are most naturally curled and sleepy, and when the smallest details of the newborn stage are still present.
We know this is one of the most tender and exhausting seasons of your life. We have been through it ourselves. We move slowly, we do not rush and we bring the same patience and compassion to you and your baby that we bring to every family who walks through our door.
What do you photograph during a newborn session?
Every session begins with baby wrapped, settled and photographed in the quiet details that define this stage. Tiny hands. The curve of a sleeping face. The way they tuck in close. And those tiny toes.
From there we move through a series of setups that typically include baby alone, baby with mom, baby with dad, and the family together. If you have a specific vision, a particular prop, a meaningful blanket, a color that matter to you bring it and we will work it in.
We also love capturing detail shots that parents forget to think about and then treasure forever. Fingers. Feet. They way a newborn fits into a parent's hands.
do you photograph siblings during a newborn session?
Yes, and these are some of our most treasured images from newborn moments.
Siblings are welcome during your newborn session. We find that children respond beautifully when they are given a gentle role rather than a direction. What unfolds is usually something far more genuine than a posed shot.
If you also have a toddler who may need some coaxing, that is normal and we understand. We have seen it all and we do not rush these moments. Plan for a little extra time and let us take care of the rest.
We are here to make sure you do not have to rely on memory alone.
